Panadura Montessori house of children is a Montessori dedicated to provide a learning environment that guides, nurtures and enriches the individual. The Montessori Method is now being successfully implemented with children in nearly every country of the world. We are inspired by the philosophy and educational thoughts of Dr. Maria Montessori, who created the models for classroom environments including materials, organization and structure. We believe that every child is born with the desire to learn. Our program is designed to help children to develop concentration, coordination, inner discipline, and good working habits. Within ordered and challenging environments, our child is encouraged to follow their interests and travel along the path of self-construction intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.
The children in our Montessori classroom learn by doing; they pursue their tasks either in a group or alone. Our teacher strives to encourage active discovery of new experiences and ideas in all the areas of development. Our teacher acts as a guide to stimulate their never-ending curiosity, but more importantly, as friends with a healthy respect for one another. Our team is excited to share this wonderful journey with you and your child.
Outdoor exploration: children develop physical and social skills, co-ordination and confidence through sand, water, climbing, carpentry and any other resources. Children are shown how to plant seeds, care for the plants, rake up dead leaves etc.
Our spacious outdoor play garden provides a number of daily activities that promote not only a healthy body but a healthy mind. Through group games, sports, and basic movement skills, as well as plenty of outdoor exercises and nutritional guidance, the children are exposed to a well-balanced and active lifestyle!
The playground consists with play toys and play equipment to support the physical and mental development of children.
It has various resources and programs to stimulate brain development. It is also the children’s corner mixed with fun and laughter.
Science is the study of the world around us. Our great science experiments and project that child can do even right at home; all come with easy to follow instructions. Child discovers amazing facts about animals, plants, human body, and earth etc.
